Looking for things to do in Rogersville, Tennessee but unsure where to start? As the second oldest town in Tennessee, Rogersville offers history, character, and charm and is suitable for leisurely travellers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.


If you’re only here for two days, you’re going to want to see and do as much as you can! The good news is that no matter what you do here in Rogersville, you’ll be sure to enjoy it.


Be sure to follow this two-day itinerary to make the best of your stay, even if it’s just for a short time. Let’s jump right into it, shall we?!


Day 1


8:00 a.m. - Breakfast at OH Henry’s

Before you truly kick off your first day here in Rogersville, TN, you’re going to want to fuel up. That means breakfast at OH Henry’s! Rated one of the best diners in Rogersville, OH Henry’s is famous for its simplistic country-style cooking. With a Freshly-made daily menu, your mouth will be certain to drool in all of its glory!


11:00 a.m. - Experiencing Rogersville, TN

Next up, it’s time to head on over to Amis Mill Eatery. Don’t worry, while Amis Mill has the word “Eatery” in its name, it offers so much more than just delicious food! Upon arrival, walk through the pavilion and grab some food from the eatery. Afterwards, make your way towards the historic Dam and enjoy some of the most breathtaking views of Rogersville. If you’re still not ready to leave, head on over to The Visitors Center and enjoy getting an education in history.


2:30 p.m. - Tennessee Whiskey Tour

A visit to Tennessee isn’t a complete vacation if you don’t indulge in some of the finest whiskey in the country. While it’s a little bit of a distance away, making the trek out to Tennessee Hills Distillery is a must on your to-do list while here in Rogersville. Raise a glass to good times and good whiskey!


5:00 p.m. - Dinner

By now, you’ll be craving some dinner. Head on over to Big H BBQ for a mouthful of mouthwatering, saucy, perfectly cooked barbecue. We won’t be disappointed if you order up a beer or two to pair. While we’re known for our whiskey, we also don’t discourage a good time. Whatever tickles your fancy, Rogersville has you covered.


Day 2


8:00 a.m. - Coffee time at ‘Coffee at the Kyle’

It’s day two, and it’s time to pour up a cup of Joe at the well-known coffee shop - Coffee at the Kyle!


11:00 p.m. - Fish for Lunch!

Before lunch, visit Clinch River to indulge in some fishing and after you’re done, stay awhile for lunch at the Clinch River Fish Tours!


2:30 p.m. - Explore Rogersville, TN

If fishing wasn’t enough activity for one day, head on over to Elrod Falls in Thorn Hill, TN. Soon enough, it’ll be time to for dinner!


6:00 p.m. - Dinner

For dinner on day two, plan a date at Red Dog On Main Taproom! Pour up a beer, order some pub food, and indulge in the local IPA’s of the night. Before you know it, it’ll be time to say farewell to Rogersville!
